Walsingham House, London
Walsingham House is a prominent 1930s office building in the City of London’s Trinity Square Conservation Area, which has been repositioned and extended by John Robertson Architects for developer KHI Holding Group.
JRA’s designs have transformed these spaces into flexible, Grade A office accommodation, suitable for modern occupiers.
The original slopped roof was removed to create a balanced façade and two new levels were added, bringing the NIA up to 5,980m2.
Sustainability has been a key consideration at Walsingham House. The building’s overall sustainability credentials, energy efficiency and accessibility has been improved, with the building expected to receive BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.
We worked closely with JPJ Installations to specify new decorative gold laser cut Art Deco-inspired metal panels which were provided for the new private terraces for occupier use, providing panoramic views of some of London’s most notable landmarks.
