A disused Siemens factory in South-east London convertered into one of the government’s flagship University Technical Colleges.

Walters and Cohen Architects were the lead architects tasked with turning the single storey industrial warehouse dating from 1957 into a new Technical College.

Amron worked directly with Walters and Cohen Architects in recommending a suitable mesh mesh to provide security for the rear fire escape stair case and also the large branding panels on the front of the building.

The chosen mesh was Alpine 24, this was because of its industrial appearance and its ability to be manufactured into large panels, which helps give the overall appearance required and made installation on site easier.
